Several volunteers, land stewards, and staff members spent the morning of Thursday, August 26, greeting visitors and cleaning up a trail at the beautiful Cumberland Creek site.  Long time steward Jim Johnson staffs the information table.

The creek has little water, only in isolated pools, and hopefully stranded fish have cool and oxygen rich water from underground flow.

Mostly ferns and shrubs have branched out over the trail and folks had a choice of tools to work with.
